We do not have a formal membership structure, nor do we charge anyone to participate. If you are interested in our work, we consider you a member of our "coalition." All are invited!

Donations

Healthy Communities is a citizen's effort - we need your knowledge; your time; your energy and enthusiasm; and yes, your donations would be greatly appreciated.

Although we have been successful in obtaining grants for many of our projects, we are always trying to stretch to do more, sometimes because you tell us what's important to you - and often there are no funding sources.

If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation to our program, you can do so by going to our agency's main website at www.downeasthealth.org and clicking on the donation box. You can also send donations to: URHC, Downeast Health Services, 52 Christian Ridge Road, Ellsworth, ME 04605. Please designate your donation for "healthy communities."
